Statement on personal data protection
Videotrips is a site aiming at creating a meeting point for users who are very fond of tourism, journeys and the various travelling styles.  
The mission of Videotrips is that of creating a user community open to dialogue and discussion and to a fair exchange of information to help and provide advice to all those in the world who like travelling.
Videotrips relies on the ethics and common sense of the participants, who will take care of their behaviour. Only in serious cases, the editor of Videotrips or its moderators shall intervene to recall the following rules to users who are behaving improperly, eliminate the unloaded videos, stop discussions or definitely delete offensive messages. 
The following are considered offensive messages and are therefore banned by Videotrips.tv:
• pornographic / paedophiliac videos and photos
• blaspheme statements  
• offensive expressions addressed to registered users or third parties;
the following discussion subjects are not allowed by Videotrips.tv:
• pornography, links to pornographic sites, links to illegal material;
• planning of illegal activities;
• sending  non requested e-mail messages;
• computer piracy;
Videos, photos, and messages aiming at advertising free of charge Internet sites, products, trade marks and any other thing that can be considered commercial shall not be accepted.  The links to external sites are accepted when necessary in the light of the subject matter and if the information provided there is really useful to clarify points of view or to cast light on a specific subject.
Beware that no type of product placement is authorised. We invite all users to participate in a sound and fair way and to inform the editor about behaviours that do not abide by these rules.
When registering the user accepts:
• not to unload videos, photos, obscene, coarse, offensive, and violent messages or messages that promote racism or any other type of material against public order or morality, which is confidential or violates the privacy of third parties and however not suitable to the service. When unloading such videos, photos or messages, the user shall immediately and definitely be excluded and their Internet provider shall be informed. The IP address of all messages is recorded to this purpose, to support the respect of these rules.
Note: the exclusion from the community of Videotrips.tv concerns registered users.
The administrator and moderatos of Videotrips.tv have the right to remove, change or close a contribution any time they deem it necessary.
• to take the responsibility for the contents of the videos, photos, messages and texts that have unloaded.
• to inform about any unauthorised use of one’s own user name and/or password or any other violation of safety that is known to the user.  
• to register with only one user name: to try and participate in the community life under several nicknames makes the free exchange of information extremely confused and much more difficult the moderator’s task.
• that any unloaded information shall be recorded in a database only to allow the service use. The user is responsible for preserving and keeping confidential the password and the user name.
• that sending a contribution to the site entails that the contribution becomes property of Videotrips.tv, which reserves the right to change, improve, complete it or delete any of its parts. Videotrips.tv however undertakes to intervene mainly through structural, grammar and/or orthographic improvements. Moreover, it reserves the right to use received texts and/or images as it wishes, including the possible publication of such material on other Internet sites, magazines or in radio and/or television broadcasts.
Videotrips.tv uses cookies to keep information in your local computer and offers its service at best. The e-mail address is used to confirm the registration (a message shall be sent to the address), in case of a forgotten password (a new one will be sent) and to receive updates, only if the user wishes it.  
The registration to Videotripos.tv entails the explicit acceptance of these rules that can be updated, extended and changed at any time and that are made available here.  

The Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (CODE FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA hereinafter the ‘Code’) that replaced Act no. 675 of 31 December 1996, envisages the rules concerning the collection of personal data and in particular:
a. the purpose and methods of data treatment;
b. the compulsory or voluntary nature of data provision;
c. the consequences of a possible refusal to provide the data;
d. the entities or category of entities to which the personal data can be communicated or that can receive the data as controllers or their substitutes and the extent of data dissemination;
e. the user’s rights;
f. the controller’s identity.
Purpose and methods of data treatment: the data collected through the site is treated legally and according to equity principles and will be used, upon the user’s approval, to obtain the services proposed by the site. Sending videos, photos, and messages to the site Videotrips.tv entails the acquisition by the Company of the sender’s address. This address, together with the other personal data collected, is necessary to be able to reply to the requests and to provide the requested services.
The data is treated in paper and/or electronic format by means of automated procedures and the treatment is performed directly by the controller’s organisation or by people outside the organisation as supervisors and / or people in charge with the treatment as well as by Service companies’ supervisors and / or people in charge with the treatment. Appropriate safety measures are foreseen to prevent the improper or illegal use of data, the access by unauthorised users and the lost of data. No data collected through the site is subject to dissemination.
Compulsory or voluntary nature of data provision: the user of the site Videotrips.tv has the right to provide or not provide his/her personal data when requesting the use of the services of the site Videotrips.tv. In case the treatment is not authorised, the provision of the service requested to the site Videotrips.tv is impossible.
Entities or categories of entities to which the data can be communicated:
the data provided can be used by the company to send advertisements concerning services that are similar to those being the object of this commercial relation. The user has always the right to oppose the promotional use of data but the prior consent is excluded in compliance with art. 130, paragraph 4 of the Single text on personal data protection.
User’s rights:
the Code grants specific rights to the user among which the right to obtain the confirmation of the existence or not of their own personal data and their availability in a comprehensible form from the person in charge with the treatment; to know the origin of data and the logic and purpose of the treatment; to be informed about the identity of the controller and of the entities or categories of entities to which the data can be communicated; to obtain the deletion, transformation in anonymous form or the non-dissemination of the illegally treated data as well as the updating, improvement or, if interested in it, the addition of further data; to oppose the treatment for legitimate reasons.
Please be aware that the deletion and non-dissemination concern the illegally treated data. The addition of new data must be supported by a specific reason. The right of opposition can always be exercised against commercial and advertising material, direct sale and market surveys; in all other cases the opposition must be based on a legitimate reason.
The rights stated in this paragraph can be exercised by means of a written request addressed to the controller at the registered office of the Company owning the site Videotrips.tv.

Transfer of data abroad:
the personal data collected through the site can be transferred outside the Italian territory only and exclusively for the provision of the services requested through the site and in compliance with the specific provision of the Code.

the consent to the data treatment in compliance with the Code and this notice must be given by the user by means of the specific form and by clicking on the authorisation box.
